Clear Hearing — clear-hearing.com Last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms govern your use of clear-hearing.com and any purchase made through it, operated by Clear Hearing, Wilsons Business Park Centre, Manchester, M40 8WN, United Kingdom ("Clear Hearing", "we", "us"). By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to buy from Clear Hearing. Our devices are over-the-counter hearing aids intended for adults; they are not sold for use by children. If you create an account, you are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account.

2. Our Products and Intended Use

Clear Hearing devices are over-the-counter hearing aids designed for adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss (approximately 10–70 dB). They are not custom-programmed prescription devices, are not intended for severe or profound hearing loss, and do not restore normal hearing.

Our UK devices are CE-marked. Our US devices are supplied by an FDA-registered manufacturer. Neither statement is a claim of medical benefit beyond amplification, and neither replaces professional assessment.

3. Not Medical Advice

Everything on this website — product pages, guides, articles, comparisons and support emails — is general information about product use. It is not medical advice, not a hearing test and not a diagnosis, and it does not replace an audiologist or physician.

Consult a medical professional before purchase if you have sudden or rapidly worsening hearing loss, loss in one ear only, ear pain, drainage or bleeding, dizziness or vertigo, a history of ear surgery, a visibly deformed ear, or possible earwax blockage. Stop using the devices and seek advice if you develop pain, irritation, discharge or a sudden change in hearing.

4. Safe Use

Do not use the devices at a volume that is uncomfortable; excessive amplification can damage hearing. Keep devices, domes and batteries away from children and pets — small parts are a choking hazard, and a swallowed battery is a medical emergency. Follow the cleaning instructions supplied, and do not open, modify or attempt to repair a device.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency of your market (GBP in the UK, USD in the US) and may change without notice. Comparison or "was" prices refer to our own previous or standard pricing unless stated otherwise. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we may cancel the order even after confirmation and refund you in full.

You are responsible for any applicable VAT or sales tax as shown at checkout.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance; the contract is formed when we dispatch the order. We may refuse or cancel any order — for suspected fraud, reseller activity, address mismatch, prior chargeback history or stock issues — and will refund any payment taken.

7. Promotions, Bundles and Gift Cards

Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time. Bundle pricing applies only to the bundle as sold; returning part of a bundle may adjust the refund to the non-bundle price of the items kept. Gift cards are non-refundable and do not expire except where the law requires.

8. Shipping, Risk and Returns

Shipping is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. The 60-Day Better Hearing Guarantee, the 1-year warranty, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Both are part of these Terms.

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery at the address you provided.

9. Care Plans and Other Purchase Options

Subscriptions, care plans, pre-orders and instalment options are governed by our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy, which is also part of these Terms.

10. Reviews and Customer Content

If you send us a review, photo, video or testimonial, you grant Clear Hearing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it in marketing and on our site, attributed to the first name or initials you provided. You confirm the content is yours and infringes no one's rights. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or that makes medical claims we cannot substantiate.

11. Intellectual Property

The Clear Hearing name, logo, text, photography, video, layout and code on this site are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

12. Acceptable Use

Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, scrape our content at scale, or interfere with the operation of the site.

13. Warranty Disclaimer

Beyond the 1-year warranty and the guarantee described in our Refund & Return Policy, and beyond any rights you have under mandatory consumer law — including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable US state law — the products and this site are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without further warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant any specific hearing outcome. Results depend on the type and degree of your hearing loss, fit and consistent use.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear Hearing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the order concerned, or GBP 100 (USD 125 for US customers).

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clear Hearing and its partners against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of a product, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Chargebacks and Disputes

Please contact help@clear-hearing.com before disputing a charge with your bank; most issues are resolved within one business day. Chargebacks on orders that were delivered, refused or abandoned will be contested with carrier evidence and order records, and we may decline future orders from the customer involved.

17. Electronic Communications

By using the site you consent to receiving communications from us electronically, including order notices and legal disclosures, and agree that these meet any requirement for writing.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere — including in the United States — you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your place of residence and may bring proceedings locally where the law allows.

Before any formal action, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for 30 days, beginning with a written notice to help@clear-hearing.com.

19. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, carrier failure, customs action, or platform and infrastructure outages.

20. Severability, Assignment and Changes

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in force. We may assign these Terms in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; you may not assign them without our consent. We may update these Terms at any time — the version published when you order is the one that applies to that order.
